FSI Awarded Contract at Aviano Air Base, Italy

FSI was awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center-Huntsville, to perform operation, maintenance, repair, and facility management support tasks and functions for medical facilities at the 31st Medical Group. FSI will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, subcontracts, and other items necessary to successfully perform this vital contract.

Aviano Air Base is located in northeastern Italy and was established by the Italian government in 1911 as the first airport in Italy. During World War I, Italy used the airfield in missions against the Austro-Hungarian and German armies. Aviano Air Base now hosts the U.S. Air Force’s 31st Fighter Wing and is the only U.S. Fighter wing south of the Alps.

FSI is excited to serve the Aviano Air Base community for the next 4 ½ years.
