FSI Awarded Contract at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana

FSI was awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center-Huntsville (OMEE MATOC), to perform all operations, maintenance, repair, and facility management support tasks and functions for medical and ancillary facilities associated with the 2nd Medical Group at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. FSI will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, subcontracts, and other items necessary to successfully perform this essential contract.

Barksdale Air Force Base is located in Barksdale, Louisiana, approximately 8 miles from Shreveport, LA. Barksdale AFB supports 32 units and is also home to 3 squadrons of B-52H Stratofortress bombers. As a force provider, necessary medical capabilities for Barksdale AFB include support for mission readiness and deployability, maintaining health and readiness for the active duty population, and providing garrison care for beneficiaries and retirees.
