Parking Lot Paving &
ADA Compliance
- •ADA-compliant pedestrian crossing construction
- •Multi-clinic parking lot crack sealing and restriping
- •Active military installation coordination

Challenge
The project required coordination across multiple active medical clinic sites while meeting ADA compliance requirements. Initial progress was delayed due to permitting timelines and weather conditions. During site preparation, previously undocumented underground infrastructure was discovered, including an old oil tank and an unmarked pipe, requiring immediate environmental and safety coordination.
Approach
FSI mitigated schedule impacts by sequencing work strategically. While awaiting parking lot permits, the team advanced crack sealing and restriping work at surrounding clinics to take advantage of favorable summer weather. Upon discovery of the undocumented oil tank, FSI coordinated with Environmental Control and DPW to safely remove the tank and continue work without delay.
Results
- •Completed ADA-compliant pedestrian crossing and parking lot
- •Successfully crack sealed and restriped multiple clinic parking areas
- •Maintained project momentum despite unforeseen site conditions
